About Frondeg CL

Opened in 2024, This quiet, adult-only, site is ideally located on the Llŷn Peninsula in Bryncroes, just outside the village of Sarn Meyllteyrn, and has been awarded the CAMC Certificated Location of the Year 2026 – Best in Wales.  

Set on a small holding, you’ll be just ten minutes from some fantastic beaches and coastal towns, including Whistling Sands (Porth Oer) and Aberdaron, Abersoch, and Nefyn.

The site offers five fully serviced grass pitches, well spaced from each other, with at least 10M in between each, you’ll have everything you need to enjoy a fantastic holiday to the Llŷn Peninsula. Pitches have electric hook up (16A), fresh water and grey drainage, as well as WiFi included!

The on-site facilities block includes two shower rooms with WC and wash-hand basins, plus a wash-up room with a wall map of the area and lots of local information and leaflets. Showers are free to use, so you won’t have to struggle with coins!

Well located to explore the Llŷn Peninsula, you can take advantage and head to some of the great beaches, like ‘Hell’s Mouth’ (Porth Neigwl), a 20-minute drive away or the coastal towns of Llanbedrog, Nefyn, and Abersoch, all within easy reach by car.

Up to three dogs are welcome to join you for a small charge. Please be sure to add them onto your booking. There is a dedicated dog exercise field for them to run around and to stretch their legs after their journey.

Our free WiFi is high-speed WiFi 6 with a strong signal across the field.

Open fires are not permitted, but BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised well off the ground to reduce fire risk and damage to the grass.

This site is certificated with the Caravan and Motorhome Club, this means that you must be a member in order to book.

NOTE: Site access is restricted- not suitable for large motorhomes (>3.5T) or twin-axle outfits (>7.5M).  If in doubt, check with us BEFORE booking.

What’s here

Frondeg CL is a great base for enjoying all that this outstanding area has to offer, there are some challenging and not-so-challenging walking and cycling routes, picturesque spots and friendly pubs. Alternatively, the site itself is surrounded by rolling countryside and is ideal for sitting back, with a cuppa (known locally as a panad) or a glass of something, and chilling!

You’ll be within a short drive of some fantastic sandy beaches, including ‘Whistling Sands’ (Porth Oer) ten minutes away and ‘Hells Mouth’ (Porth Neigwl) a 20 minute drive away. For a day of mooching harbours and pretty coastal towns, Aberdaron, Abersoch, Llanbedrog, and Nefyn have plenty to offer.

The National Trust – Plas yn Rhiw (10 minutes) is a quaint manor house with well manicured gardens that you can walk around or stop in tea room for a refreshing drink and bite to eat.
